Description du site : Situé à 300 m des falaises du cap de Nice, ce site est très exposé à la houle et au trafic maritime. Il n’est donc accessible qu’en bateau avec une sécurité surface efficace. Le site de plongée des 3 îlots se caractérise par 3 patates rocheuses posées en pleine eau sur un fond de 45 m. Une descente de plongée dans le bleu est donc impérative.
Le site étant peu pratiqué, il est riche en vie : langoustes, crevettes, mérous, gorgones, dorades, barracudas sont au rendez vous.
Pour les plus expérimentés, il est possible de glisser à 60 m ou plus en recycleur hypoxique sur le côté est du tombant des américains. Le passage sous le vieux filet rempli de grosses gorgones suspendu dans le bleu entre deux roches est somptueux.
